Lake District Wedding
July 31, 2015
I enjoyed every moment of Lindsay and Stuarts big day in the Lakes. These two are such a delight to spend time with. Stuart is super, super laid back but in the best possible way, while Lindsay is super, super organised and constantly on the go. They compliment each other perfectly and are clearly a brilliant team!
They were married in the very old and very beautiful St Michaels Church, Isel in the Lake District, then while their guests headed off to Stainton Village Hall for the beginning of the reception we headed off deeper into the Lake District to get some shots of just the two of them. I am so excited when couples set aside such a chunk of time in their day to capture great shots, this pair live and work in the Lake District and its such a big part of their lives that they wanted that to be a real focus for their wedding photographs. These two also like to laugh and joke - a lot, so there were no dull moments!
Lindsay's job as Headworks Controller with United Utillities means she looks after the area around Thirmere, as such she knew all of the best spots for us to stop off for pictures with some fabulous views. We also bumped into a couple of her collegues up by the reservoir!
