Let’s get to know each other. I want you to feel completely comfortable with my presence on your big day.
So, let's have a couple of relaxed get-togethers to chat about your plans, and maybe where you’ve been on holiday, your cat, your favourite show, where you met or whatever else helps me to get to know you better.
This is where I start getting an idea of who you really are and begin planning how to capture that essence in your images.
If you can travel to Carlisle I LOVE meeting clients face-to-face and getting to see your love for each other in real-time! If not we can chat via phone/zoom/email where we can work through all the details of your big day.
No question is too big, too small, too silly, or too irrelevant, bring it all, I am always at the end of the phone or email.
PRE WEDDING SHOOT*
Capturing your natural essence begins here.
A pre wedding shoot is the best way to get to know each other a little more. It can also help calm the heart, that beats a little faster every time someone mentions photos. If you, like almost everyone, are worrying most about getting your photo taken on your wedding day, this will help prove that having your picture taken isn’t as terrifying as you think.
Think of it like a few friends going for a walk, chatting and snapping.
Everyone who comes to me has some anxiety big or small around having their picture taken, it's a universal thing, you’re not alone. Getting some snaps before the big day really helps couples feel more relaxed and at ease, which equals more natural images, and that is what we’re aiming for.
*As a complimentary extra, pre-wedding shoots are subject to availability and usually booked in midweek.

(These are secretly some of my favourite moments to photograph, the wine is flowing, the inhibitions disappearing and everyone has usually forgotten I am there by this point!)
